How long does a session last?

Sessions are available in three or four-hour blocks. Multiple blocks can be scheduled for a project that requires more time. The length of the session that best fits your project will be determined during the initial consultation.

Do I need to be home?

Not necessarily. You can be as involved as you want in the process. You can lead it with the organizer there for moral support or you can grant full access and immunity to the organizer and come back to see the finished space. Your level of involvement will be discussed during the initial consultation.

What if i need to reschedule an appointment?

Life is unpredictable. We understand that appointments sometimes have to be changed. For our scheduling purposes, please contact us as soon as possible. Repeated changes or cancellations may result in a fee.

How long will a project take?

There is no single answer to that question. While sessions are set for three or four-hour blocks, a project can have as many sessions scheduled as needed. A pantry could be done in one session; a whole-house pack-up could have a dozen sessions stretched over as many weeks. The number of session that your project needs will be discussed during the initial consultation.

Can you just do it for me?

Of course! With clear communication, you can leave the whole project to Sweetly Stowed if that is the best fit for you.

How do i pay?

We accept cash, check, or major credit cards. Bartering is less common in the 21st century, but it could be considered, too.

Do you clean houses?

Yes and no. Sweetly Stowed cleans as needed in the space that is being addressed. If you want a general housekeeper, bring that up during the consultation. We have relationships with reliable cleaners.

Do I need to buy containers or organizing tools?

You may purchase the items, or you may have the organizer do that for you. However, Sweetly Stowed recommends waiting to purchase these kinds of things until the project is in the “Stowing” stage. When purchased too early in the process, containers and such become part of the problem instead of the solution. It is also possible that you already have amazing options in your home!

How much will it cost?

Every project is unique, thus every price will be different. Sweetly Stowed will address the budget for your project during the consultation.
